TOPIC: Who Is On The Lord’s Side? (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 1 July 2019)

The MESSAGE:
Are you on the Lord’s side?
You are on the Lord’s side when you have made Him your personal Lord and Saviour. You are on the Lord’s side when you are completely obedient to Him and are living in the centre of His will. You are on the Lord’s side when you put Him first in all things. You are on the Lord’s side when you love Him with all your heart, soul and spirit. You are on the Lord’s side when you partner with Him in accomplishing His kingdom purpose on earth. You are on the Lord’s side when you are an active soldier in His army, populating His kingdom, depopulating hell and destroying the works of satan.
When you are on the Lord’s side, it shows you are serious about Christ and you are serving Him. When you are on the Lord’s side, you will experience real joy. Exodus 32:29 affirms this, “For Moses had said, consecrate yourselves to day to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you as a blessing this day.” Secondly, when you are on the Lord’s side you will escape judgement. Exodus 32:27 says, “And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.”
When Moses came back from the presence of God and saw that Aaron had led the people into idolatry, he was so furious that he broke the tablet he had received from God. In order to mete out the appropriate punishment to the offenders, he asked, “Who is on the Lord’s side?” Those who joined Moses on the Lord’s side were spared death and destruction. Those who chose not to be on the Lord’s side were wasted or killed.
Similarly, in Exodus 12, when God sent the angel of death to destroy all the first born of man and animals in Egypt, He instructed that the Israelites should kill a lamb per household and put its blood on the doorposts and lintels of their homes. They did and were spared by that angel. The Egyptians who did not stay under the covering of the blood were killed by the marauding angel. The blood they applied was the sign that they were on the Lord’s side.
Beloved, are you on the Lord’s side? The requirements for being on the Lord’s side are as follows: confession of your sin, giving your life to Christ and living for Him in holiness and obedience, and being consecrated to the Lord’s service (Exodus 32:29). I encourage you to be on the Lord’s side because in these last days, only those who are on His side will He preserve, make to prevail and excel. Be wise!

- Lord, I thank You because with You on my side, I can win every battle, in the name of Jesus.
- Every power waging war against my elevation, die, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING - I claim victory over every battle older than my age, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord of Host, arise and disgrace all my disgrace, in the name of Jesus.
- Heavenly Host, arise and fight my battles for me, in the name of Jesus.
- I claim total victory over all my life’s battle, in the name of Jesus.
