FIRE SCRIPTURE: Zechariah 4:4-9

The MESSAGE:
When we say mountainous challenges, we mean seemingly big situations that are difficult for human beings to comprehend or easily overcome. We mean the challenges may become unbearable that the person may be thinking of giving up or committing suicide. Some people call difficult situations, problem. Some others say they are challenges, but we all know that irrespective of whatever name they are called, they are unfavourable conditions that are discomforting. In the Fire Scripture, Zeerubbabel had challenges that could be described as mountainous.
It was beyond his power and strength, and he knew that it was only the Spirit of God that could resolve it. This means that there are problems in our lives that are bigger than our resources and actually need divine intervention. To Zerubbabel, the presence of an angel was needed and at last, the great mountain was pulled down and Zerubbabel’s hand was effective to carry out his divine assignment. Therefore, mountainous problems must be divinely stopped.
This means that there are several types of challenges. Even in the valley, there are challenges there and there are also mountainous challenges. Sometimes, challenges can be mild that the intervention from friends, parents, few prayer points, and just little strength would resolve them. However, mountainous challenges require more than what we can muster from relatives and friends. Such challenges are usually rugged, difficult, stronger than what your strength can handle except by intervention of divine power.
The devil and his principalities enforce mountainous challenges. These challenges can kill, destroy, terminate destiny, and they seem not to have physical or human solution. But they must be stopped because God has given us the power to stop them, to destroy them, to break them, to demolish them and to unveil the “masquerade” behind them.
Beloved, to move forward, the mountainous problems must be confronted only by the power in the name of Jesus. The wall of Jericho was pulled down. Elijah brought down the prophets of Baal; your case will be different. Ask for power, fire, divine strength and many other available weapons to pull down your mountains. Present your career challenges, business difficulties etc to God today; He is ready to pull them down.

MORNING
1. Every intimidation of the wicked against me, I break you down, in the name of Jesus.
2. Powers rising up against me like a mountain against my laughter, die, in the name of Jesus.
3. Mountains and obstacles standing against my breakthrough today, I pull you down before I step out this morning, in Jesus’ name.
EVENING
4. Thou power of bad luck, thou power of setback standing against my success in life, die, in Jesus’ name.
5. Anti-breakthrough power, designed against my destiny, I stop you before you stop me, in Jesus’ name.
6. I use the keys of heaven to lock out problems from my life and family, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every good work I have started, receive the power of perfection and be completed, in Jesus’ name.
