TOPIC: I Shall Not Be Wasted (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 22 August 2020)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Ecclesiastes 1-3
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 60:16-20 (KJV)
16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.
18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

The MESSAGE:
You can say no to wasters; and refuse to be wasted. One thing you must learn from today’s devotional is that you can actually determine what happens to you. When you say no, heaven will back you up.

A professor was jailed for a rather pathetic reason. He appropriated the rice meant for distribution to people in his local government area to himself. When he was being taken to jail, he was protesting that it was a waste for the country to lock up a whole professor in the jail. But his problem really was impatience. He wanted to get rich quickly with minimum effort. In a related development, a British professor of surgery was pardoned when they discovered that he was an asset to the United Kingdom. He was in court on account of fighting with a woman in a pub under the influence of alcohol.
These wasters are the powers that plant spiritual diseases in people’s lives, especially the spirit of impatience. Impatience is a destructive spiritual disease that has made many people to lose great fortunes in life. It operates everywhere: in the banks, offices, post offices, highways, markets, homes, schools and churches. It is commonly said that “the patient dog eats the fattest bone.” So, if you are going to move un-obstructively and unchallengeably from poverty to prosperity, from defeat to victory, from failure to success and from nobody to somebody, and settle on the positive levels, you need to deal with the power of the wasters.
Many think that money is the answer to their problems. How wrong are they? If you don’t deal with the wasters and you are given millions and millions of any currency, such amount of money will vanish in no time because the spirit of wasters will ensure that nothing good is done with it. It will waste the money in no time. It happened to the prodigal son. God has declared that your sun shall no more go down. Beloved, claim it now. Act on it now. And with that, you shall not be wasted.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- You destroyers of opportunities, my life is not your candidate, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Oh God, arise and let my name be too hot for the enemy to handle, in the name of Jesus.
- Every spirit of Herod assigned against my blessings, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- I charge my blessings with the fire of Holy Ghost; they are untouchable for the enemy, in the name of Jesus.
- By the power in the blood of Jesus, I shall not miss good opportunities, in the name of Jesus.
- Any evil attached to my name against my blessings, be cut off and die, in the name of Jesus.
- Let my name become poison in the mouth of my enemies, in the name of Jesus.
