2 Corinthians 13:5:
5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Psalm 139:17-24:
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

The MESSAGE:
Today’s devotional study can be likened to a clinic. It will help you to put things in good shape in your life, particularly with regards to sin, which is an organised self-destruction. Sometimes when a person is being disobedient to the Lord, he would hear the sermon which touches his sin as if the sermon is pre-arranged to spite him or her. The person would say that the preacher is referring to him or her, whereas it is God locating the person. When such a consciousness takes place, the best thing to do is to repent and turn away from anything that the Lord is pointing at.

One day, at a teachers’ meeting arranged to discuss matters concerning a student who was impregnated by a married man, I told them that it was sin and I seized that opportunity to chip in the word of God. The principal interrupted me. He asked me to take a seat. He then abused me thoroughly, accusing me of being shameless, wearing cheap things. I looked at myself and found out that everything I had on was worth just one dollar. I then said, it was true that I was wearing cheap things. A few weeks later, the girl in question went to the married man’s house and was beaten mercilessly by the man’s wife and she later on died with the pregnancy.
Are you one of those who make other people to stumble? Are you winning souls for the Lord? In which department are you serving the Lord? Are you a rolling-stone Christian? Are you an umbrella-kind of Christian on whom the word of God drops and does not penetrate? Do you worship in all and different churches, moving from one to the other? You must get delivered from the spirit of vagabond. Can you honestly say that you have made any progress in your life? You have to subject yourself to a thorough self-examination. Let the Holy Spirit beam His bright searchlight on your heart today.

- Every landlord spirit troubling my destiny, be paralysed, in the name of Jesus.
- Every outflow of satanic family name, die, in the name of Jesus.

- I recover every benefit stolen by idol powers, in the name of Jesus.
- Where is the God of Elijah, arise, disgrace every family idol, in the name of Jesus.
- Every satanic priest ministering in my family line, be retrenched, in the name of Jesus.
- Arrows of affliction originating from idolatry, loose your hold, in the name of Jesus.
