14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

MFM Devotional For Today 2026 MESSAGE:
God called forth light at the beginning of creation. Its appearance made a formidable difference compared to the darkness that had pervaded the earth. Jesus is the Light of the world. This Light shines in the dark, and darkness cannot comprehend it because it is a mystery. Children of God are called to shine His light, not to conform to the world.

Physically, children are expected to resemble their parents in one way or another. When there is no resemblance, such children are referred to as bastards. They are considered not to be true children of their fathers. As it is in the physical, so it is in the spiritual. Light begets light. Simply put, if you are a child of God, then, you are a light begotten from the Light, and you are called to shine. However, if you are not shining or your light is dim, then, there is a cause for alarm. Something serious has happened or is happening and should be instantly addressed. There are many reasons that could be responsible for a light that’s not shining. These should be thoroughly addressed before the light is totally extinguished.
I implore you therefore, Beloved of God, to see to it that your light shines wherever you go and in whatever you do. As a result, your Heavenly Father is glorified. Otherwise, it is an indication that you are not different from the world. It means there is a compromise, that you are romancing and having fellowship with darkness, either directly or indirectly. The Bible warns us strongly to come out of such associations and be separated unto God. You should influence the people of the world positively so that they too can come out of darkness and enter into the kingdom of light. You are to win them over, not the reverse. May darkness not overshadow your light, in the Name of Jesus.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- Agenda of darkness over my life, fail woefully, in the Name of Jesus.
- Powers struggling to cover my shining, you shall not prosper, die now, in the Name of Jesus.
- Like Jesus, I will shine, and the power of darkness shall not be able to decode my life, in the Name of Jesus.
EVENING
- O God, arise and clear away satanic clouds gathering against my star, in the Name of Jesus.
- I refuse to compromise with darkness, in the Name of Jesus.
- Quenchers of the light of destiny, my destiny is not your candidate; fall down and die, in the Name of Jesus.
- (Mention your name), arise and shine for your light has come, in the Name of Jesus.
