TOPIC: Prove Your Love For God (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 14 February 2022)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Leviticus 15–16; Matthew 27:1–26
FIRE SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 13 (KJV)
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

I prophesy that henceforth the Lord will make you an apostle of His love, in the Name of Jesus.
The Message:
As a believer, our love for God should not be mere lip service or untrue but genuine, unfeigned and profound. Also, God expects us to prove our love by requiting and showing it to Him and others. As He has amply and convincingly proved His love to us, He wants us to do the same to Him and others. You can do this in the following ways:
First, you should demonstrate unreserved obedience to His Word. In John 14:15, Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandment.” Obedience to God in a prompt, unquestioning and complete way is the greatest proof of your love to Him. Obey God, whether it is convenient or not. Abraham proved his love by obeying God on the issue of Isaac. God rewarded him handsomely for it.

Another way to prove your love for Christ is to feed His flock. Jesus said to Peter, “Lovest thou Me?” Peter answered, “Thou knowest, Master.” Jesus told him, “Feed my flock.” How should you feed the flock of Jesus?
The Bible says that man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Therefore, teaching and preaching the Word of God to others and making them grow spiritually is a great way to demonstrate your love for the Lord.
Next to spiritual feeding is the physical one. Jesus fed 5,000 men with five loaves of bread and two fishes. Dearly beloved, you should use your material resources to meet the physical needs of others (food, accommodation, clothing, etc). When you grant them this favour, the Lord said He is the One you have bestowed the favour upon.
Finally, you can prove God’s love to Him and others by doing what God loves. The heartbeat of the Almighty is soul-winning. Seek out the lost, unreached and unloved souls and win them for Christ. Do not stop winning souls for Christ; disciple them for Him also. Turn them to faithful followers and ambassadors of the Kingdom.
When you prove your love successfully, God will reward you handsomely.

MORNING
- Spirit of obedience to God, enter me now, in the Name of Jesus.
- Spirit of love for God and my fellow men, enter me now, in the Name of Jesus.
- Blood of Jesus, purge my spirit, soul and body of every hatred, bitterness and unforgiveness, in the Name of Jesus.
EVENING
- Every battle programmed to steal the love of God from my heart, expire, in the Name of Jesus.
- Anointing for effective soul winning, rest upon me, in the Name of Jesus.
- O God, let my life bring you joy, in the Name of Jesus.
- Fire quenchers, glory killers and anointing polluters of my father’s house slowing down the progress of my ministry, die, in the Name of Jesus.
