FIRE SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 53:1-5 (KJV)
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

MFM Devotional For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we asked some questions and provided answers to some of them. We will attempt to answer the remaining ones today. One of the questions we will be answering today is, “What did Jesus come to accomplish? According to our fire scripture, He was beaten and wounded, blood came out of His wounds, water came out of His side, even the crown of thorns placed on the head also brought blood, the nails on His feet and hand brought out blood. All these points where blood came from Jesus are very significant in the lives of the redeemed of the Lord who accept His death, burial and resurrection.

Dearly beloved, our memory verse too says, “With His stripes, we are healed.” Healing was provided for all our infirmities, sicknesses and diseases, both physically, spiritually and emotionally. All our failures, all our problems etc. were taken care of on the cross, when He said “It is finished.” We must not go back to those things He healed us of. His sacrifice was once and for all time, even generation yet unborn will benefit as they accept Him as Lord and Saviour. These and many more are what He came to accomplish. By His work on the cross, we all received a new lease of life.
Dear reader of this devotional, are you trying to live life by your own strength or by your own righteousness? Jesus paid the price on the cross of Calvary. Therefore you need not rely on your own strength. Just believe today and you are covered by the work He finished on the Cross. Are you still carrying the burden of any sickness or infirmity, any problem? Leave them at the cross. You cannot bear the punishment that Jesus took upon Himself for you. Give the burden to Him totally and you will be free because, it is finished. The work of your healing is completed. Amen.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- Jesus, I need You. Come into my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Grace that perfects all, enter into my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Jehovah Rapha, my Healer, break every yoke of sickness in my life, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- By the power in the blood of Jesus, you demons of infirmity, die, in the name of Jesus.
- I hide myself in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
- I eat the flesh of Jesus and I drink the blood of Jesus for wholeness. Therefore, I cannot fall sick, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Ghost, arise and part every Red sea of infirmity in my life, in the name of Jesus.
