21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.

MFM Devotional For Today 2025 MESSAGE:
It is commonly said that hard work pays and even the Bible encourages us to be hard working. Proverbs 14:23 says that all hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. It simply means that when a man is hardworking but has nothing to show for his labour, there is a problem somewhere. The grace of God is abundantly sufficient for every child of God to work hard and also reap the reward of his labour. Apostle Paul made a statement in 1 Corinthians 10:15, “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” It means that the grace to work and reap is available to us.
However, you must know that there is also a spirit known as the spirit of profitless hard work or non-achievement. This evil spirit has been assigned against some people to ensure that they do not enjoy the fruits of their labours. It is there to make sure that people work hard and still remain in want. They cause people to live in abject poverty in spite of genuine hard work. It is time to stop this evil power before it ends up wasting your productive years. If this power is not put in check, it can make you struggle from the cradle to the grave. Proverbs 12:11 says, He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.” It is your right to enjoy the fruit of your labour. Refuse to be deprived of your reward when you have worked for it. Rise up by the power in the blood of Jesus and dislodge the evil power that has vowed that you will not have rest, and the Lord will back you up, in the name of Jesus.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- I shall not labour in vain, in the name of Jesus.
- I shall eat the fruit of my labour, whether the devil likes it or not, in the name of Jesus.
- My life, magnetise favour by fire, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- Spirit of struggling and frustration working against my rest, die, in the name of Jesus.
- O God, arise and fight my battles, in the name of Jesus.
- I shall not labour for another to eat, in the name of Jesus.
- My labour shall not go to Pharaoh, in the name of Jesus.
