Isaiah 42:9-10:
9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
10 Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
Isaiah 43:18-19:
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Philippians 3:13:
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

MFM Devotional For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
God is a specialist in doing new things. He is never stale or complacent with the old status quo. His children too must not be contented with the status quo. He never changes yet He changes unpalatable situations. I do not know what area of your life needs newness today. but what I know is that He is about to open a new chapter for your destiny.
‘Remember ye not the former things, … Former things could be both positive and negative. Whatever it is, God said we must forget about them, all because He wants to do a new thing. Today, like Apostle Paul, it is time to forget those things which are behind: success or failure, good or bad. It is time to reach forth to those things kept in store for us by God.

Beloved, it is a season of new things. There is need for you to move because every new phase will place a demand of change on us. God wants to do a new thing but you too have to turn. Yes, you too have to want the new things He wants to do. You cannot be in love with the stale and expect God to automatically do a new thing. You have to detest the old and stale way of life and you have to be intentional and deliberate about it.
Change is inevitable. It may be that you have to turn from an old evil habit. It may be that you need to padlock your mouth from saying certain things. It may be that you have to cut off from certain relationships. Whatever it is that God is putting in your heart to turn from this season, turn and see how quickly new things will begin to spring forth in your life and destiny. Believe it; God is going to do a new thing in your life.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- O God, arise and rewrite my story, in the name of Jesus.
- O God of new beginning, my life is available, do a new thing in my life, in the name of Jesus.
- O God, arise and close every chapter of negativity in my life and family, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- O God, arise and open a new chapter of glory for my destiny, in the name of Jesus.
- O God of the suddenly, make a way for me where men say there is no way, in the name of Jesus.
- Where is the Lord God of Elijah? Let Your still small voice still every storm in my life, in the name of Jesus.
- I prophesy newness upon my life, career, marriage, health, in the name of Jesus.
