TOPIC: Walking In Love (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 24 April 2025)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Judges 2:10-3:31, Psalm 92:1-93:5, Luke 22:14-34, Proverbs 14:1-2
FIRE SCRIPTURE: 1 John 4:6-21 (KJV)
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
MEMORY VERSE: “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.” – Ephesians 5:1-2 (KJV)

MFM Devotional For Today 2025 MESSAGE:
The Bible defines love as a way of life. That is, a conscious decision to act in kindness, compassion, and selflessness towards others. Walking in love, therefore, becomes not just a choice, but a duty for all followers of Christ. Love is so important that the Bible tells us it is the greatest commandment, and that which defines us as true disciples of Christ. In Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus declares, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself.” Our love must be directed towards God and towards fellow human beings. In 1 Corinthians 13, Apostle Paul explained further the significance of love. Verses 4-7 says, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.” These verses tell us how love should be manifested in our relationships and interactions with one another. Walking in love requires a transformation of the heart and a renewal of the mind. It means putting others first above oneself, forgiving even when offended, and seeking reconciliation rather than retaliation. It involves showing compassion to those who are in need. The ultimate example of love is found in the sacrificial death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross (Matthew 22:37-39). 1 John 3:16 says, “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” Jesus’ selfless act of love is the foundation of the Christian faith, which demonstrates the extent to which love is willing to go for the sake of others.
