TOPIC: Our God Reigns (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 5 July 2021)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Psalms 46-50
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Exodus 14:1-4
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.
3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.
4 And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

OUR GOD SHALL ESTABLISH HIS DIVINE ORDER IN EVERY DEPARTMENT OF YOUR LIFE, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
The MESSAGE:
Our God is the King of all kings and His reign spread far beyond the comprehension of men. He installs kings and also dethrones kings. The entire universe is His domain. That is why when we say that our God reigns, it is important for you to know what we mean. He is the Creator of all things and the perfect manager of the whole universe. His kingdom is from eternity to eternity and His dominion is from everlasting to everlasting. Consider the loquacious Pharaoh who was seeking to stop God with reliance on magicians and sorcerers, he and his magicians failed. Pharaoh drowned in the Red Sea along with his horses and their riders.

The God we serve reigns above all gods, kings, masters, leaders, rulers, powers and principalities because He is sovereign, all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, all-sufficient and transcendental. God rules by the power of His word. The Bible says that where the word of a king is there is power. God’s word cannot be hindered from being fulfilled. All power in heaven and on earth belongs to our God; every creature, living and non living, visible and invisible obey Him. The kingdom, the power and the glory belong exclusively to Him. When He decrees or commands a thing it comes to pass. God has proved again and again that He reigns when He suspends the law of nature and perform miracles, signs and wonders. He is also the Governor among nations, the desire of all ages and the One who changes times and seasons.
Beloved, the Sovereign Lord who rules in the affairs of men deserves your worship and obedience at all times. Because He reigns above all powers, situations and circumstances, there is nothing He cannot handle and make good for you. If you trust Him, He will turn what you or others call a hopeless and unpleasant situation around and give you a great testimony. Because He reigns, He brought Israel out of 430 years of Egyptian bondage; He slew Goliath with a mere stone and a slingshot; He subdued the boasting Sennacherib, silenced the haughty Herod, humbled the proud Nebuchadnezzar, defeated satan and restored the stolen dominion to His children. Indeed, our God reigns!
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- Every strange king sitting on God’s throne in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Battles resisting the voice of God in my life, be silent forever, in the name of Jesus.
- Every satanic authority working against my well-being, crash, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- I resist every voice from the grave, in the name of Jesus.
- Power pursuing me with the arrow of death, die in my place, in the name of Jesus.
- Every Jezebellian arrow fired into my marriage, backfire, in the name of Jesus.
- The enemy shall not have a hiding place in my life, in the name of Jesus.
