1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

MFM Devotional For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we examined the issue of blank cheque book with each leaf already signed in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour. This blank cheque book and leaves are in John 14:13-14: “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

The resources in the Bank of Heaven are limitless. Therefore, we owe it to our Lord to cash these cheques so as to give Him the opportunity to honour His promises. As a result, we must go to Him regularly in prayer and draw upon the unlimited supplies of divine grace, power and favour that are available to us and easily accessible to us through prayer in the name of Jesus.
Dearly beloved, the book of Philippians has this to say, “But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippian 4:19). You should pray, so that you will be able to draw upon the heavenly supply for your needs. If you do not ask for your portion from heavenly supply, it will remain there and you will be the one to lose out. You need to pray to defend and protect all that God has given to you. The devil is always on the prowl, looking for who to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Your prayer will keep him at arm’s length and drive him far away from you.
Beloved, prayer protects, prayer defends and prayer can also be a weapon of attack. We need to seriously go back to God for the power, spirit and anointing of prayer. This generation has become so powerless that the devil is increasing in his evil revival and children of God seem to be helpless before him. Why is this so? It is as a result of lack of prayer. Let us go back to God for the fire of prayer and revival in our individual lives, our families and in our churches. Even nations of the world today, only prayer to God in purity of mind and purpose can redeem them from total destruction. If we are ready to pray, God is ready to answer when we pray in the name of Jesus.

MORNING
- Father, let the kingdom of Christ come into my heart, in the name of Jesus.
- Every evil power attacking my prayer altar, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Every satanic gate opened against my prayer altar, I close you by fire, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- O Lord, have mercy upon me, in the name of Jesus.
- Grace, arise and speak for me, in the name of Jesus.
- Every power of darkness operating in my environment, be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.
- I dethrone every strange king installed in the spirit against my environment, in the name of Jesus.
