TOPIC: Guard Your Ears and Heart Diligently (Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries Tuesday, 14 August 2018)
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Numbers 13:31-33
MEMORY VERSE: “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” – Proverbs 4:23
The MESSAGE:
Each person is responsible and accountable for whatever thought he allows in his heart. Many of our actions are products of thoughts and imagination. As we have thoughts of victory, we also have thoughts of defeat. As we have thoughts of healing, we have thoughts of sickness. Life and death are resident in our thoughts and the Bible says as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Your life is a product of your thoughts and imaginations.
The devil has no creative power, but we can surrender ourselves as easy tools to achieve his purpose. When we begin to use our thoughts and imaginations negatively, we become advocates of the devil for our own destruction. What you hear and what you think greatly influence what happens to you. This was the problem of the Israelites in the wilderness.
After completing the assignment given by Moses to search the Promised Land, they completely lost control of their thoughts and concentrated on defeat rather than victory. They saw the giants and imagined how the giants would crush them with ease. They confirmed that the land was flowing with milk and honey and even brought fruits as evidence of the prosperity in the land but in their hearts unlike the visible evidence that the land favoured the inhabitants, they concluded that it was a land that eats up the inhabitants. They had been under the protection of God who delivered them from Egypt but rather than see how great, powerful and mighty God is, they believed in their hearts that God would not be able to deliver them from the giants. Even though they did not have any interaction with the giants, yet they concluded in their hearts that they were like grasshoppers in the sight of the giants. They finally concluded that God had brought them out of Egypt to fall by the sword in the wilderness. They forgot that what we say is what God will do. According to Numbers 14:28, “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.” What a tragedy! They got wasted in the wilderness according to their thoughts and imaginations. If you will take control of your ears and heart today and put them in subjection to the Holy Spirit, you will be able to overcome the evil giants confronting your life. Guard your ears, your eyes and heart diligently and frustrate all evil words and projections from the devil. Take a bold step today and declare like Caleb that you are well able to overcome your challenges, and God shall empower you to overcome, in Jesus’ name.

MORNING
1. O Lord, convert my defeat to victory, in the name of Jesus.
2. Arrows of fear and discouragement, I bind and cast you out of my life, in the name of Jesus.
3. Strange voices, speaking discouragement into my life, shut up and die, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. Voices of defeat, I am not your candidate, be silenced by fire, in the name of Jesus.
5. My heart, reject evil thoughts and imaginations, in the name of Jesus.
6. Thoughts of victory, promotion and prosperity, enter my heart by fire, in the name of Jesus.
7. I shall arise and shine by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
