TOPIC: The Fourth Man In The Furnace (Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries Monday, 9 April 2018)
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Daniel 3:19-25
MEMORY VERSE:
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” – Isaiah 43:2
The MESSAGE:
Adversity is common to all men, rich and poor, young and old, regardless of their religions and races. Although every man is bound to face trial or adversity at a point in life, not every man is bound to enjoy the intervention of the Fourth man. Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego, three Hebrews in Babylonian captivity, had refused to bow to the golden image which King Nebuchadnezzar made and set up. They disobeyed the king’s order at the risk of losing their lives. The penalty was that they would be thrown into the burning fiery furnace which the king had ordered his men to prepare. Though the king’s mighty men had heated the furnace seven times more than it was usual on the instruction of the king, these believing men did not bulge. They preferred to be thrown into the furnace and endure whatever their God deemed fit. They were prepared to accept God’s loving verdict to save or not to save them. Their faith was unusual! They told the King plainly that they would not bow to his golden image, even if their God chooses not to deliver them.
God honoured their genuine faith. Jesus appeared as the fourth man in the burning fiery furnace and the fire could not burn them, neither did the flame kindle on them. King Nebuchadnezzar who saw the Son of God (the Fourth Man) in the fire was flabbergasted. He went on to praise the God of Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego as the Most High God who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him.
Beloved, your own burning fiery furnace may be a challenge in your career, it could be a health problem, marital turbulence or financial difficulty. Just as the king ordered that his men should heat the furnace seven times, trials also have levels. However, no matter the magnitude and intensity of your trial, the Fourth Man will appear to help you as He did for the three Hebrews brothers. However, note that the Hebrew brothers were godly. They trusted God absolutely and He sent His Son to deliver them. I pray that, no matter how terrible the trial you are facing may be, the Fourth Man in the furnace will appear and deliver you, in Jesus ‘ name.

PROPHETIC WORD:

PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
1. Thou fourth man in the burning fiery furnace, appear in my situation, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, give me the faith of Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego, in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, turn my trials to promotion and testimonies.
EVENING
4. Tragedy shall not be my lot, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every conspiracy against me and my family, scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.
6. Agenda of the enemy for my life, be aborted now, in the name of Jesus.
7. No matter what the enemy does, I will not go back to Egypt, in the name of Jesus.
