TOPIC: Saying No To The Will Of The Devil (Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries Sunday, 13 May 2018)
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Matthew 4:1-11
MEMORY VERSE:
“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:” – James 1:13
The MESSAGE:
Matthew 18:7 says, “Woe to that man by whom offences come.” Eve was tempted by the serpent and Adam was tempted by Eve. All three of them received the judgement of God according to their offences (Genesis 3:14-19). If only Eve had said no to the serpent, mankind would have been saved from destruction today. If only King David had said no to the spirit of lust, he would not have slept with Bathsheba and his bloodline would be free from bloodshed. If Judas had learnt to say no to the spirit of stealing, he would have remained among the twelve.
As children of God, we have to learn to say “No” to sin and to the devil. When your body tells you, “Why don’t you take alcohol? shout a resounding “NO!” When your body tells you, “Why don’t you have a little extra marital affair?” shout a resounding, “NO!” When your brain tells you to tell a lie, shout a resounding, “NO!” It will keep you from destruction.
This is a very simple task which can be practised by shouting a very loud and resounding “NO!” whenever those sinful thoughts that plague your mind arise. Joseph took to his heels when he was confronted by the devil, which was his way of saying “No” to the devil. When we learn how to say no, battles will be won in our favour, doors will be opened for our prosperity. Learn how to say “NO!” to the devil today and it will help you avert damnation.

I speak deliverance into your life, receive the power to say NO when the need arises.

MORNING
1. O Lord my God, put Your holy fear within me, in the name of Jesus.
2. Ability to say NO to the devil, come over my life, in the name of Jesus.
3. As from today, I say NO to the plans of the devil for my life, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. As from today, I say NO to satanic agenda flourishing within my life, in the name of Jesus.
5. As from today, I say NO to every spirit pushing my life towards Hell, in the name of Jesus.
6. Lord Jesus, give me the grace and power to say NO to the devil, in the name of Jesus.
7. I receive the grace to resist the devil and his evil plans, in the name of Jesus.
