TOPIC: Never Forsaken (Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries Thursday, 17 May 2018)

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Deuteronomy 4:29-31

MEMORY VERSE:

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”Hebrews 13:5

The MESSAGE:

God has promised not to ever forsake us. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. No matter the vicissitudes of life, remember God will never forsake you. No matter the highs and lows of life, God will never forsake you. No matter the ups and downs of life, God will never forsake you. Jesus Christ promised us that He would be with us even to the end of age. This is a great promise. We should never have a feeling of loneliness or being destitute.

The Scriptures enjoin us to be content with whatever we have. Life is a continuum. Remember the trial of Job, he lost all with the exception of his wife. His wife was in the plan of God. She was meant to be an agent of restoration and she indeed gave another set of children to Job after the first set were lost to his trial. In all his trials, he was not forsaken, God was with him. The commandment had gone forth that his life should not be taken. You are not forsaken regardless of your deplorable state or situation. There is hope for you.

Daniel was envied and a grand conspiracy was plotted against him because of the uncoming promotion. King Darius was pondering on promoting him but the enemies conspired against him. The conspiracy landed him in the lions’ den. Through it all, an angel was sent to the lions’ den to shut the mouth of the lions. God did not forsake him in his trying times. Peter was jailed and was ready to be executed but he was miraculously delivered after the church gathered to pray and call for his deliverance. He was not forsaken. Paul and Silas were jailed for preaching the gospel and the earthquake of deliverance was sent to deliver them. They were not forsaken. The word of God is replete with so many accounts of those whom Jehovah stood by in their trying times.

Daniel said, “Innocency was found in me before my God.” God is of purer eyes than to behold iniquity. His eyes are upon the righteous. Be holy. Be righteous. The king of kings will never forsake you.
