  1. The leaders saw how bold Peter and John were. They also realized that Peter and John were ordinary men with no training. This surprised the leaders. They realized that these men had been with Jesus.

  2. The leaders could see the man who had been healed standing there with them. So there was nothing they could say.

MESSAGE:

It is one thing to answer the call of Jesus, it is another thing to stay with Him after answering the cal. Those who stay with Jesus are those who learn from Him and obey His teachings. They also follow the scriptures and the leading of the Holy Spirit. They are bold to preach the gospel and fear is far from them. Romans 8:15 says:

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear: but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry. Abba, Father.”

In addition, those who are with Jesus live a life of miracles, indeed they can perform miracles themselves. I keep telling my children that we all can do more than Jesus did. Anyone who believes this will be a true ambassador of Jesus Christ on earth. He or she will indeed be the salt and light of the earth and the blessings will be evident in his/her life. For God’s blessings to be evident in your life, you have to be with Jesus.
