TOPIC: Be A Peacemaker (Open Heaven for Teens, 18 May 2026)
MEMORISE: Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9
BIBLE READING: Romans 12:14-18
14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
MESSAGE:
A peacemaker is someone who seeks peace at all times. Whenever there are fights or disagreements, a peacemaker is willing to do all it takes just to ensure that peace reigns.

As a child of God, you are called to be a peacemaker, and this comes with divine blessings. Don’t be someone who fights or instigates quarrels among your friends, siblings, or peers; it is not an attribute of a child of God. A child of God does not cause trouble.
My dear child, when there are disagreements among people around you, do not be tempted to take sides or instigate further division. Likewise, if you are faced with a dispute or quarrel, do not be tempted to fight or retaliate. I implore you to actively seek peace at all times; this shows the child of whom you are. If Christ, who is the Prince of peace, lives in you, then you should be a peacemaker at all times. When you do this, you model Christ to everyone around you.
KEY POINT:
Seek peace at all times.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Luke 1:24-56, Deuteronomy 33-34
HYMN 16 – Oh, Spread The Tidings Round, Wherever Man Is Found
1 O spread the tidings ’round wherever man is found,
wherever human hearts and human woes abound;
let ev’ry Christian tongue proclaim the joyful sound:
The Comforter has come!
Refrain:
The Comforter has come! The Comforter has come!
The Holy Ghost from heav’n, the Father’s promise giv’n!
O spread the tidings ’round, wherever man is found:
The Comforter has come!
2 The long, long night is past, the morning breaks at last;
and hushed the dreadful wail and fury of the blast,
as o’er the golden hills the day advances fast!
The Comforter has come! [Refrain]
3 Lo, the great King of kings, with healing in His wings,
to ev’ry captive soul a full deliv’rance brings;
and through the vacant cells the song of triumph rings:
The Comforter has come! [Refrain]
4 O boundless love divine! How shall this tongue of mine
To wond’ring mortals tell the matchless grace divine—
That I, a child of hell, should in His image shine!
The Comforter has come! [Refrain]
