- And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.

MESSAGE:
These days, many Christians rely on what they hear from their pastors about God and His ways. Some others get their knowledge of God from other peoples opinions on social media or during arguments, without doing a background check on the personality of the speaker. The moment someone comes to teenagers, speaks in tongues, quotes and interprets Scriptures to them, they fall for it and believe everything the fellow says – hook, line and sinker. Don’t forget that the devil also quotes Scriptures so you need to study to know Gods word yourself. Also, ask the Holy Spirit to interpret the word of God to you. Believe me, while it is good to listen to preachers of the word of God, the best rhema is the one you get through the Holy Spirit.
Think up topics to perform biblical research on. You can have a study group where you all do individual research within a time frame, then meet to discuss on the topic together. Be like the Berean Christians who searched the Scriptures to confirm what they had been taught by Apostle Paul and they were described as more noble than the Thessalonians who never did the same.
KEY POINT:
The best rhema is the one gotten from the Holy Spirit through the Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:16).
