19 Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”

20 In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble.

21 If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

22 Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Bible In One Year: Exodus 31-33; Matthew 22:23-46

MESSAGE:

Can you serve your father food in a dirty dish? No. In fact, most homes have separate dish for the head of the home. The dish cannot be used by any other person, not even the mother of the home. Likewise for God, any vessel (human) that will be used by Him must be clean. If for instance, you are a church worker, yet indulge in sin, you are serving God food in a dirty dish. There is the story of a young lady who had been crying to God to use her. One day, she was very pressed in the school. So, she ran to the rest room. She got into the first cubicle and found it messed up; the second was the same. She turned back and as she walked away in irritation, God spoke to her and said that was the same way He saw her.

God is looking for vessels to use in carrying out assignments in this end time. He is counting on teens like you. Don’t allow any sin to defile you because if you do, God will not use you.

Prayer Point:

Father, please make me fit for your use

Hymn 3: All To Jesus I Surrender

  1. All to Jesus I surrender,
    All to Him I freely give;
    I will ever love and trust Him,
    In His presence daily live.

Chorus:
I surrender all,
I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Saviour,
I surrender all.

  1. All to Jesus I surrender,
    Humbly at His feet I bow;
    Worldly pleasures all forsaken,
    Take me, Jesus, take me now.
  2. All to Jesus I surrender,
    Lord, I give myself to Thee;
    Fill me with Thy love and power,
    Let Thy blessing fall on me.
  3. All to Jesus I surrender,
    Now I feel the sacred flame;
    O the joy of full salvation!
    Glory, glory to His name!
