READ: 1 Samuel 16:14

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: John 1:1-51, 1 Kings 14-15

MESSAGE:

There is no vacuum in nature. Its either one is under the influence of the Holy Spirit or demons. Do you know that as the Spirit of God wants to dwell in you, so also is Satan seeking occupancy in you? I pray that you will not become a home for the devil, in Jesus name.

Judas Iscariot was a zealous and committed worker serving in Jesus inner circle as a treasurer but Satan capitalized on his greed in order to possess him. Similarly, King Saul, who was disobedient to Gods instruction, wanted to look honourable before men instead of asking the Lord for forgiveness. God taught him a lesson by withdrawing His spirit from him and a demon took possession of his mind. I pray for you today that the Spirit of the Lord will not depart from you, in Jesus name. If you’re not yet born again, you are walking on dangerous ground, because the devil obviously has easy access to you. This is the reason you must not delay your salvation. Please accept Jesus today and shut the door of your life against the devil and demons.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, please dont let me be a habitation of the devil, in Jesus name.

HYMN: ‘Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus

  1. ‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
    Just to take him at his word;
    Just to rest upon His promise,
    Just to know, “Thus saith the Lord.

CHORUS
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved him o’er and o’er!
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust him more!

  1. O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
    Just to trust His cleansing blood;
    Just in simple faith to plunge me
    ’Neath the healing, cleansing flood!
  2. Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
    just from sin and self to cease;
    just from Jesus simply taking
    life and rest, and joy and peace.
  3. I’m so glad I learn’d to trust Thee,
    Precious Jesus, Saviour, Friend,
    And I know that Thou art with me,
    Wilt be with me to the end.
