Topic: Never Move Until He Moves! [Monday, November 6, 2017]
Basic Scriptures: Numbers 9:15-23; Psalm 32:5
Today’s Basic Scripture (RSV) Vs. 18 says, “At the LORD’s command they encamped, and at the LORD’s command they set out.” The KIJ puts it thus: “At the commandment of the LORD, the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched…..’ Note: “At the LORD’s command……..” This is the secret of peace and calm elevation. It is secret of untold promotion – moving at the pace of God. If an Israelite in the desert decided to make an independent move outside Jehovah’s command, if he/she took it upon himself/herself to move when the crowd was at rest or to rest while the crowd was moving, then calamity and destruction was the end product.
So it is with you! As 2017 ends and no matter how this year has been like, refuse to panic or take hasty decisions concerning any issue. Always ask:”WHAT IS GOD SAYING?” No matter the heat of the battle, refuse to move before or move after God. Move with God! If you are too down or confused to know what to do, then do nothing. If you move when you ought to rest or rest when you ought to move, you will be outside DIVINE PRESENCE!
No wonder Florence Kellogg pinned the poem below: “Each morning I wake, I say ‘I place my hands in God’s hands. ‘I know He walk close to my side, my every wandering step to guide. My hands in His Hands- no surer way to walk in safety through each day! When at day’s end I seek my rest and realize how much I’m blessed, my thanks goes out to Him and then I take solace in my hands in His Hands.”
Stay With God! Walk With God! Move At His Pace! Even When The Storms Seem To Rage, Don’t Panic! Get A Word From God Before Any Action! Never Move Until He Moves! Never Rest Until He Rests! Let Your Hands Be In His Hands! You Will Excel!
Prayer Points: Take Song 3: Because He lives……..
1. In your own words, pray about today’s word as led.
2. Lay your life at His feet again and ask for the grace to walk with Him even when you are tempted to panic or rush.
3. Lord, grant me Your grace to hold You, even when I am weak.
4. Reject confusion or hurrying outside the perfect will of God. Pray/declare Psalm 32:8 again now.
5. Lord, enable me to know when to wait, get ready or get going in Jesus Christ name. Pray for singles today as led now.

7. Pray about today seriously and concerning any other issue(s)
