“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”-Numbers 23:19

You may have heard the phrase, “God is not slow.” To some, these words have been a source of encouragement through tough times while to some others, it is merely a phrase. The reality though is that this statement is as true and real as God is. There is no issue of your life that He is not aware of; all you need is to trust His Word with faith.

There is nothing you need that has not already been provided in the Word of God and there is nothing you want that God is not capable of. The reason why people get discouraged is because they can’t see the reality of their provisions, they don’t trust God enough to step into their situation or they are in a haste to receive and God doesn’t seem to work as quickly as they’d like.

Remember though, there is no belated blessing; so the times you receive answers to your requests are the right times. You therefore must not lose faith, but continuously hold firm to God’s report like Abraham (Romans 4:20-12). Don’t be too hasty with God; His time is always the right time. Those who choose to wait on Him are never disappointed, because they usually receive more than they asked for.

Understand that looking up to God for anything requires that you search the Word for a sure foundation to stand on, so your faith does not waiver. God has your best interest at heart (Matthew 6:28-30), thus refuse to be discouraged by any negative happening around you. As the best of His creations, He loves you with an undying love. See the reality of this love and let your faith rest on it (Isaiah 26:3).

Remain Blessed!
