“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”-1 Corinthians 2:9

How I love “treasure hunt” games! You have to look for a particular item and until you find it, you are not qualified for the next round. The exciting thing about this game for me is the joy or feeling of accomplishment, once that treasure is found. But do you know this is just the same with you? There is something— a potential inside of you— that is a treasure to your existence. Until you find it, you are not “you;” you are just a “random human”.

The greatest discovery in life is the discovery of your potentials because when it is found, everything about you makes meaning; not just to you but to others around. Your potential means the uniqueness of your destiny— that which you were created for. The good news is: Everyone has it! God has so fashioned us to fit specific roles.

The reason why people feel displaced in life is because they have failed to hunt for this treasure in them. They don’t even know they have a potential, talk less of searching for it. This potential can also be called your gift and the Bible says that gifts bring you before great men (Proverb 18:16).

A pointer to your gift is discovering what gives you utmost joy and satisfaction when you engage in it. What do you do with the least effort, with great excitement and the needed motivation? That, most of the time, is a pointer to what you should build on. When you locate the treasure of God within you, you will not need to struggle at all in it; it will flow naturally. Therefore, in case you have not discovered yours, you must do that because that is where your greatness lies. You will not miss it in the name of Jesus Christ!

Remain Blessed!
