Topic: Give them all you can [Sunday August 16, 2015]

“…He that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.” -Proverbs 23:24

Good training is the best investment you can make on your children. Every other investment may yield results; but not as can be compared to the joy, peace and blessings you receive when your children are well-nurtured in all areas of life. That is why you must do all it takes; giving all it entails both physically and spiritually, to see that they are groomed rightly.

One vital aspect of your training is to teach them to have a vision for their life as well as support that vision with them. Every child is created for a purpose; but it is your duty as a parent to help that child find his or her purpose, walk in and find fulfilment in it. As a parent, you are your child’s greatest support system. No one should and can cheer him or her like you.

That is why you have to be committed, diligent and dedicated to seeing that your child succeeds in that vision or purpose. Do not see training your child as an impossible task. Remember, their success or failure also is yours. Therefore, follow your child in prayers and guidance, as they chart their course in the pursuit of their God-ordained assignment.

If you understand that every child is loaded with landmark treasures and has a divine assignment to successfully fulfil, then you must ask yourself how and in what capacity you have helped and should still help in seeing that he or she accomplishes that very task in life. It is your responsibility to find a place of contribution; giving all you have. Nothing is too much a sacrifice for your child. Therefore, be willing and ready to pay that price cheerfully. You will not lose your rewards in the name of Jesus!

Remain Blessed!
