Topic: Be Punctual [Thursday July 9, 2015]

“Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:40

Think about this for a moment: If you are paid 100 naira per second for every meeting, Church gathering and/ or other important events you attend, that would mean you potentially can earn 720, 000 naira in two hours. Now, if you are late for 30 minutes of that time, you would have lost 180,000; the more time lost, the more money lost.

Someone once said that punctuality is the soul of a business. So, if you have no respect for time, it could cost you alot in life. Time is life and to waste time is to waste life. Time can neither be stopped nor stored, certainly not by you. So, you must value time and punctuality, if you want to achieve more in any day.

Your punctuality shows how disciplined you are. A person that is always late for meetings, lectures and/ or other activities, cannot be trusted with important responsibilities. However, if you are always punctual, even when you are not fit for that position, you would still be given the opportunity for improvement because you have earned the respect of others.

It does not speak well to be the kind of person that always goes late to every function. Avoid carrying the label of a “latecomer.” It does nothing other than prove your level of indiscipline. Handle your time with every sense of responsibility and you would be duly rewarded for it. From this day forward, you shall be time disciplined in the name of Jesus Christ!

Remain Blessed!
