Topic: Making the Most of your Time [Thursday March 26, 2015]

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” -Ecclesiastics 3:1

I got the real meaning of the saying that time waits for no man, as I thought on some information I had received. Apparently, it was yet another birthday of this acquaintance of mine, and I was reminded, I sat, reminiscing on the days we now had known each other; over 20 years. It seemed to me like the informant had to be wrong- it was already 20 years? But she was right, it was that birthday. Then I realised, of a truth, time flies.

Time is life! The more time you waste, the more of your life you waste. It is important to take every moment you are privileged to see very seriously, because you might not have the same opportunity to make the impact you would have made then, again. As a teenager, you have many steps ahead of you, so many opportunities for a better tomorrow, and so many life- altering decisions to make.

You need to take serious this time and season, because they are instrumental in determining your glorious tomorrow. So many people procrastinate what they would have done today until tomorrow, and then they end up not doing it at all. Some others do less of what they should have done more of, and vice versa. It is said that opportunities gotten today will not remain forever; this is why now must be days of preparation. You must make the most of every opportunity.

Now is the time to do all you can; not later. If it can be done today, do it today. When you follow through and appropriately spend your time, you will see that you have achieved more and covered more miles than you thought possible.

I pray today therefore, that you will make the most of your time, make positive decisions, and achieve all that you have been ordained to!

Remain Blessed!
