Topic: An Ever-Winning Man [Thursday 12 November, 2015]

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”1 John 5:4

So many people fight their battles alone, and are soon defeated. To them, they believe that since there are so many battles in life, we are ordained to win some and lose some. Little do they know that they can win all their battles, if only they can connect to the right source for victory. Your partnership in a victorious team qualifies you to partake of the victories of that team, whether you physically joined in the fight or not.

As a believer, you have been inducted into the winning team of Christ and so should not be defeated by the devil. However, so many Christians still find themselves beaten, depressed and battered because they don’t realise the value of their position in Christ. The devil is not permitted to harass you, because you have been repositioned above him.

God has done everything possible for your victory. His intent is not for you to live an unstable life, but to be undefeated by any situation. The question therefore is: Do you believe in the victory He won for you? If yes, you need to build your confidence towards the reality of that victory you have in God. When your confidence is intact, you will be a “no go area” to the devil.

In most cases, it is dashed confidence that brings about defeat for Christians. The righteous is always bold, strong, wise and full of confidence and that is why he is ever-winning. Therefore, if you must always win, you must always build and retain your confidence in the victory of Christ for you. Don’t be cheaply intimidated, you are far more than every rant of the devil. Let him know where your confidence lies, and you will always be in command.

Remain Blessed!
