Topic: Grace by Obedience [Thursday September 3, 2015]

“Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee…”-2 Timothy 1:6

The grace of God is integral to man’s success and fulfilment in life. Everyone, irrespective of your stature, status or level of anointing, requires grace to succeed in life. However, God’s continued grace is not free as everyone thinks. It must be worked out to be sustained. The only free grace everyone has access to is the grace of salvation; every other grace you desire must be consciously worked for.

One principal instrument to stir up the grace of God upon the life of any man is obedience. The fullness of God’s grace upon a man is beyond human comprehension, but you need to be obedient to every of God’s Word to fully walk in His grace. The truth is: If your life must be free from failure, frustration and condemnations, then it must work by grace. However, this grace is available to only the obedient and it increases according to your level of obedience.

Obedience is like a magnet that brings favour, which also may be equated to grace. Constant obedience therefore, keeps that grace from running out, thereby bringing you to unending favour with God and men. Being obedient to God means you are a delighted doer of His Word, either spoken or written. Moreso, God speaks to us all the time if only we are ready to listen and do.

Everyone desires greatness, but not everyone is willing to pay the price of obedience to be great. It is grace that makes great, but grace will only work through prompt and delightsome obedience. Have you been instructed by God on any issue? That’s where your blessing lies and until it is done, you might just keep struggling. Take a giant step of obedience right now and receive the grace to achieve greatness in that instruction. You will not miss it in the name of Jesus Christ!

Remain Blessed!
