Topic: The worth of your youth [Tuesday August 25, 2015]

“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;”-Ecclesiastics 12:1

As a single, you are created to be useful. Your single years are created to be the prime time of your life, when all you see ahead and all that bubbles within you is full of life and hope. It is a precious gift you hold in your hands that many older persons wish they still had. God gave everyone this time to fully prepare, invest in and save for the “rainy days”.

Single days ought to be your most vibrant days. This is because you have the time, strength and opportunity to work and achieve your dreams without restrictions and/or limitations. However, not everyone uses this peak period wisely. Some tend to play at this time of their life, and end their latter years in regrets and struggles.

Your wise planning and good management of these youthful years will always speak in the future. God has put in you, certain qualities in this stage that if properly used, will aid in ensuring a good and productive future for you.

God expects you to channel your strength in productive works. You have the strength, so you must work hard to get great results. Understand that hard work does not wear you out; only wrong work does. So, you must do the right things and be diligent with them. With your strength, you should follow hard after your visions and aim to achieve all you see without regrets.

As a youth, you are at the peak of your life, and if you have not realised it yet it is not too late to do so. Therefore, pick yourself up from where you are and work at achieving great things. Your youthful strength will not be wasted in the name of Jesus Christ!

Remain Blessed!
