Topic: Your integrity counts [Tuesday 13 October, 2015]

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”-Matthew 5:16

A lot of youth fall short of the integrity test. They cannot be trusted, especially with their words. Integrity is what sums you up and that’s what gives you respect in the eyes of all. Integrity is like a ray of light that is meant to shine. Light is most appreciated in darkness, so your integrity is most appreciated anywhere you find yourself, especially where evil prevails.

For instance, in your home, you must be known as a man or woman of integrity. If you are found wanting, how can you then teach your household integrity? Your life cannot count outside your home if you are not having a positive impact on your family. You should constantly ask yourself what testimony they have of you at the home front. That is one sure way to weigh in on if you are on the right track or not.

Another place your life of integrity will be much valued is in your neighbourhood. Apart from your family learning to trust your words, those around you also need to trust you. And you know you can only gain that trust by being integrity conscious. Your life is meant to count, but not without integrity. Your integrity speaks louder than your voice.

Also, how are you seen at your work place? Are you known as being two-faced, or can you be relied on? If your colleagues doubt almost everything that comes from you, then you should check it. As someone who will serve as a positive influence to others, you must be trustworthy. This is not only in words, but deeds. People should be able to trust you with their valuables, money and even lives. This shows that every aspect of one’s life needs integrity to follow through. So, you must begin to work on yours, if you are found wanting in any area. Integrity is life, keep it!

Remain Blessed!
