Topic: Just a little more Patience… [Wednesday 30 December, 2015]

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”Habakkuk 2:3

Abraham Lincoln, before he became the 16th president of American had contested severally to no avail. I am sure he would have looked like a loser then and many would have mocked him, but he was not deterred. He fought valiantly for the goal he believed in and was driven by his determination until he became president. So many people have similar or far more profitable goals than his, but are not patient enough to see it materialise.

Perseverance is required in the pursuit of your every vision. Most times, it wouldn’t come easy and other times you have to put up a good fight for it. However, you must realise that every vision speaks louder at the end. You may look like “a fool” at the beginning, if you are sure of that vision as God’s will for you, it would end up victorious when you stay till the end.

Amazingly, the stories of most stars have miserable beginnings. This proves that nothing precious comes easy. But at the end, the glory is seen by everyone including the mockers. If you are not prepared to resist failure, then you are not ready to birth that dream. It takes the force of perseverance to see the accomplishment of great dreams. So, you must fight against weariness.

There are so many dreams you might have given up on, so many visions that seemed promising but you couldn’t wait for it. It’s time to arise, shake up the dust and begin to pursue hard with perseverance after that dream. No one will achieve it on your behalf, so you need to strengthen thyself. Until you are due for its accomplishment, it may not come. Therefore, keep pressing and you will reap your rewards in due season if you faint not.

Remain Blessed!
