BLESSING SUNDAY – SUNDAY, 5TH JULY 2020
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): GENESIS 32:24-28; 1 CHRONICLES 4:9-10
MESSAGE TOPIC: PRAYER AND THE BLESSING OF GOD

MESSAGE OBJECTIVE: Understanding the relationship between prayer and the Blessing of God

THINGS TO NOTE:

  1. The place of prayer is the place of the Blessing
  2. Prayerful people are ‘blessful’ people (Gen. 19:27; 18:17-19, 23-25; 1Chron. 4:9-10; Dan. 6:10, 1-3)
  3. Prayer changes both people and things (Luke 9:29)

WHAT DOES PRAYER ACHIEVE IN RELATIONSHIP TO THE BLESSING?

  1. The reversal of curses and limitations (1Chron. 4:9-10)
    THE REVERSAL OF CURSES AND LIMITATIONS IMPLIES:
    1a. The lifting of personal and generational embargoes
    1b. The breaking of negative cycles and trends at the place of prayer
    1c. The dismantling of the climate of hardship and struggle
    1d. The arrest of the spell of rejection and disfavour
  2. The change of identity (Luke 9:29; Gen. 32:28)
    At the place of prayer, who you used to be can give way to who you are meant to be
    THE CHANGE OF IDENTITY IMPLIES:
    2a. The transfiguration of life and countenance (Luke 9:29)
    2b. The elimination of the wrong label (Gen. 32:28)
    2c. The deletion of enemy marks or stamps (Gal. 6:17)
    2d. The removal of garments of evil (Zech. 3:1-3)
  3. The enlargement of life and destiny (1Chron. 4:9-10; 2:55)
    THE ENLARGEMENT OF LIFE AND DESTINY IMPLIES:
    3a. The elimination of the spell of confinement and containment
    3b. The enhancement and enlargement of capacity
    Prayer has a multiplier effect on life and destiny
    3c. The dismantling of the spell of littleness and smallness (1Chron. 2:55)
    3d. The fertilization of potentials and abilities
  4. The impartation of honour and dignity (Gen. 32:28; 1Pet. 2:9; 1Chron. 4:9)
    THE IMPARTATION OF HONOUR AND DIGNITY IMPLIES:
    4a. The dissolution of the spell of reproach and shame at the place of prayer
    4b. The release of royalty (Gen. 32:28; 1Pet. 2:9)
    4c. The elimination of sorrow and dishonour
    4d. The elimination of low worth and low quality of life
  5. The realisation of destiny (Gen. 32:28)
    THE REALISATION OF DESTINY IMPLIES:
    5a. The arrest of uncertainty and fear of the future
    5b. The arrest of powerlessness to confront the future (Gen. 32:28)
    5c. The nullification of negative histories and pasts
    5d. The collapse of destiny obstacles and roadblocks

HOW DOES PRAYER CONNECT A PERSON TO THE BLESSING?

  1. Prayer generates the Oil for the prayerful and the Oil destroys yokes and lifts burdens (Zech. 4:12-14; Isa. 10:27)

When you stand with God you become Oil pipes, channels of the Anointing; you cannot be prayerful and lack oil (Zech. 4:12-14)

  1. Prayer establishes the Presence of God around the prayerful and the Presence of the Lord releases upon the carrier the fragrance of favour (Zech. 4:12-14; Gen. 39:21)
  2. Prayer generates the Oil for the prayerful and that facilitates release into purpose and destiny (Matt. 26:36; Luke 3:21-23). If you want to face any major purpose of life, precede it with rugged prayer; oil it at the altar of prayer
  3. Prayer establishes the Presence of God around the prayerful and the Presence of God is a dressing of the Blessing (1Kings 17:1; Ex. 20:24)

HOW DO YOU PRAY INTO THE BLESSING?

  1. Pray revelationally (Gen. 32:9-12). Pray with a knowing of what God can do and will do
  2. Pray decisively; Make the choice to pray; people make choices and choices make people
  3. Pray desperately; Pray with a fighting spirit, aggressive spirit and tenacious spirit
  4. Pray obediently (2Cor. 10:6; Deut. 28:1-2) There are promises you cannot claim until you are standing on certain premises . You stand on premises to claim promises; you fulfil conditions to demand provisions.

When you locate your responsibilities in God and discharge those responsibilities, you can believe God for any possibility. Faith becomes easy when you are standing on His premises (conditions) to collect His promises (provisions)

PRAYERS:

Father, thank You for Your Word to us today, we are grateful Lord. To You be all the glory, honour and adoration, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, help me to be ready and qualified for what You want to do with my life. I am available, help me Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, the grace to align with Your Will for my life in order to become who You want me to be, I receive that grace right now, in Jesus’ Name.

JULY 2020 PARENTAL PROPHETIC BLESSING:

  1. This month, El-Shaddai give you the blessing of His Presence. May He draw You closer to Himself in this month of July and in the balance of the year, in Jesus’ Name.
  2. The Lord engrace you to live for Him, to overcome the temptations and agitations of life and of the flesh. Receive the grace, in Jesus’ Name.
  3. The Lord grant you the Blessing of guidance and Divine direction. May He guide you continually, causing you to know the steps to take per time and the moves and steps to avoid per time, in Jesus’ Name.
  4. The Lord perfect all that concerns you in this month and fulfil His perfect will for your life, in Jesus’ Name.
  5. The Lord look upon you with favour and cause His Face to shine upon you this month, this 3rd quarter and this 2nd half of the year. May He look upon you with favour and cause men to favour you, in Jesus’ Name.
  6. May the Lord deliver you, your family and your loved ones from strange arrows, snares and traps of disease and destruction, this month, this quarter and this 2nd half of the year, in Jesus’ Name.
  7. May the Lord deliver you and your loved ones from the pit of premature death and cause
    you to fulfil your days in Jesus’ Name!
  8. The mercy of the Lord shield you and defend you from the bitterness and bad will of wicked people in this season, this quarter and this 2nd half of the year, in Jesus’ Name.
  9. The Lord expose and uproot satanic plantings and agents of wickedness around your life, destiny and family, undermining and resisting the purpose of God for your life, in Jesus’ Name!
  10. The Lord put systems and people holding what is yours under pressure, they shall lose their peace, sleep and rest until what is yours enters into your hands in this month, this quarter and this 2nd half of the year, in Jesus’ Name.
  11. Every satanic, occultic handwriting and witchcraft record or hit list where they have put your name, any such detail that is contrary to your life and destiny in the archives of darkness, they are hereby roasted by fire! (Col. 2:14-15)

COMMUNION FOCUS (1 CORINTHIANS 10:16):

  • Communion of the Blessing; the Blessings declared are communicated via this communion

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

  • This month shall favour you!
  • Everything that is meant for you in this month is released into your hands
  • Help from above is released upon you now!
  • Every mark the devil has put on your body is set on fire now!
  • Every climate of hardship and struggle that the enemy has positioned around your life, on this Blessing Sunday, it is over!
  • By the time God is through with your life, your impact will be ahead of your insult! (1Chron. 2:55; 4:9-10)
  • Anything that has conspired to narrow your life and efforts, today I announce, that conspiracy is broken!
  • God is going to turn you into a wonder! What they said you cannot achieve, not only will you achieve it but generations will come out of you and also achieve it, in Jesus’ Name.
  • Wherever the devil, the world or people kept you, God is taking you out of there now!
  • What God has said about your life must happen! It must come to pass!
  • Anything that has followed you from your birth that is fighting the plan of God for your life, today, it is arrested!
