  1. Father, because my natural man cannot understand the things of God, please fill me with the fullness of the Holy Spirit so I can follow Your directions without failure, in Jesus’ name.
  2. Father, please help me to walk in the spirit, so I won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh anymore, and also to know how to discern spiritual things, in Jesus’ name.
  3. Father, please open my spiritual eyes and grant me spiritual understanding to discern the evil plans of the devil, so I won’t fall into his deceits and temptations, in Jesus’ name.
  4. Father, please help me to spiritually discern what is happening around me so I won’t miss out on Your plan and purpose per time, in Jesus’ name.
  5. Father, please in all of my journey in life, may I not lose my spiritual discernment, so that I will not miss Your windows of blessings for me, and also escape the attacks of the enemies, in Jesus’ name.
  6. Father, please may my spiritual ears never be deaf to Your instructions; Give me the understanding of Your direction by whatever means You are leading me, in Jesus’ name.
  7. Father, please make me prudent and help me to be sensitive to dangers around and ahead of me. Let my spiritual senses be sharpened enough to be able to hide myself from dangers, in Jesus’ name.
  8. Father, please help all Your children to be spiritually discerned, may their homes not be destroyed, and their lives be cut down prematurely. Help them to walk with You, to relate with each other, and to please You in their dealings with the world, in Jesus’ name.
  9. Father, please in Your mercy, sharpen my discernment and help me to see things as they really are, in Jesus’ name.

Special Note:

These prayer points were not written by Pastor E. A. Adeboye, but by one of his numerous disciples, for Christ, who was inspired and mandated by the Holy Spirit, about 7 years ago, (effective January 1st, 2015), to start writing these prayer points, based on the Open Heavens Daily Devotional, authored by Pastor E. A. Adeboye.

Some of the prayer points are deep spiritually and may not be understood by carnal minds.

If you want to be blessed from these prayer points, you must first, surrender Your life, to the Lord Jesus Christ, Himself, by saying this prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I come to You with a deeply repentant heart, please, forgive me all my sins. I surrender my life to You, today, and, I accept You, as my personal Lord and Saviour. Please, come into my life and save my soul from eternal destruction in hell fire. In Jesus’ name, I pray.”

These prayers have no expiry date! Please, pray them, irrespective of the time they get to you. Remain blessed, in Jesus’ name.
