ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: PSALM 92:1-2
MESSAGE TOPIC: THE PROFIT OF THANKSGIVING

SERVICE OBJECTIVES: Understanding the profit and the goodness of thanksgiving
Giving thanks to God is not just a spiritual formality done to fulfil all righteousness but a powerful spiritual action with proven impact and effect
Thanksgiving is not something you do as part of politeness or good character, it is beyond that; thanksgiving is a profit-filled, goodness- filled spiritual virtue with tangible physical dividends
No one has prayed well until they have thanked well

PROFITS OF THANKSGIVING:
- Thanksgiving is a tool of deliverance against the day of trouble (Ps. 50:14-15)
Your thanksgiving to God today qualifies you for Divine intervention tomorrow in times of trouble
The murmurer never sees God at work in their lives - Thanksgiving pleases God and guarantees life (Ps. 69:30-32)
Your thanksgiving gives God pleasure and secures your life
When you give God thanks, you are giving Him pleasure; and if God is pleased with your life, it doesn’t matter who is displeased with you. It is of no consequence
If you know how to give God thanks, the devil may
hate you but He cannot cut you off before your time - Thanksgiving establishes people in the Presence of the Lord (Ps. 100:4, 95:2)
Every thanksgiver is a Divine Presence carrier and Divine Presence is the answer to demonic presence
Thanksgiving makes God accessible and available for the thanksgiver
The Presence of God is the secret of rest; thanksgiving
ushers you into the rest that God’s Presence brings (Exo. 33:14) - Thanksgiving is cure for dryness and key to flourishing in life (Ps. 51:3; John 6:11-13)
Thanksgiving fertilizes life, destinies and places unto fruitfulness and flourishing; it forbids dryness and emptiness - Thanksgiving is the highway to multiplication and glorification (Jer. 30:19)
Thanksgiving forbids fewness and smallness;
You cannot be a thanksgiver and die as a pauper
The presence of glory is the absence of shame; you cannot be given to thanksgiving and be buried in shame and reproach - Thanksgiving opens the door of abundant grace (2Cor. 4:15; James 4:6)
When you give God glory, He gives you grace; God engraces the thanksgiver
Thanksgiving ushers you to grace and grace is the secret of ease
Thanksgiving is a sign of humility - Thanksgiving is a facilitator of effective and productive praying (Phil. 4:6-7; 1Tim. 4:3-4; 1Cor. 10:10)
You have not prayed well until you have thanked well
The prayer equation is never complete without thanksgiving
Thanksgiving must be a constant for the prayer equation to produce answered - Thanksgiving connects us to the goodness and mercy of God (1Chron. 16:34; Ps. 136:1-21, 106:1-2, 107:1, 118:1)
The goodness of God is the cure for the badness of the devil
The Mercy of God is the cure for the anger of the enemies
It doesn’t matter who is against you, the Mercy of God covers you
God’s Mercy on you will mess up the gang-up of the enemy against you - Thanksgiving establishes us in the Will and Plan of God for our lives (1Thes. 5:18)
Inside everything, look for something to thank God
When you thank God, you mess up the devil and God will usher you into His Will for your life
When you thank God permanently, He will marry your life to His Will
The doorway to the Will of God is thanksgiving
COUNSEL:
- Trust God to remember things for which you must be thankful because it is easy to forget the benefits of God (Ps. 103:1-2; Heb. 6:10)
Forgetfulness is unrighteousness - Endeavour to back up your thanksgiving with seeds of appreciation where necessary (1Chron. 15:26; Lev. 7:13)
PROPHETIC WORDS:
- You will end well; the year will not end according to the expectations of your enemies but according to the expectation of God (Jer. 29:11)
- God takes pleasure in your prosperity and welfare. God is working for you, not against you and that work God is doing in your life, no devil can stop it (Ps. 35:27)
- Help from above is coming your way now. it may not come from where you expect or whom you expect; a surprise help is coming your way now (Ps. 121:1-2)
- Don’t use the situation around you as a basis of your expectation from God, use your revelation of the Word as the basis of your expectation (Ps. 119:89)
- In this season, God will uncover, expose and destroy a particular device and agenda of evil around your life; that arrangement of shame and reproach arranged by the enemy is returned back to sender
- This year shall not end with you in sorrow; You shall cross 2019 into 2020 dancing. This last part of the year is the best part for you; the best Christmas of your life is what you are experiencing now. 31st December 2019 is not permitted to arrive until all your expectations are met
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
- The dividends of your thanksgiving shall be realized
- Everything the enemy has planted in your life that my Father in Heaven has not planted is retrieved and refired back to hell
- Every diagnosis the enemy has given you is now cancelled and returned back to hell
- Anything that puts your life under pressure is uprooted in Jesus’ Name
