PREAMBLE

BIBLE TEXT: When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Psa 126:1-3

From the above passage, The LORD indeed has turned again our captivity. This year 2022 is coming with a bright hope in full assurance from the Lord. To God be the Glory; by prophetic declarations, all form of siege has been broken, because it is our appointed time. We are now being ushered into a season of “Fresh Air” as we entered into the New Year.

By the leading of the Holy Spirit, Our Father-in-the-Lord, the General Overseer Pastor E. A. Adeboye has declared fifty days of prayers and fasting commencing on 11th January to 2nd March 2022. We have the responsibility to pray all the prophetic declarations from the Lord into reality. Let us use this prayer guide to Pray Until Something Happens in our life, family, Church and our Nation for the full manifestations of these great promises.

DAY 48– SUN, FEB 27TH, 2022
MILITARY
BIBLE TEXT(S): 2TIM 2:1-4, PSA 91:1-16

Military are well organized armed forces, primarily prepared for warfare. They are officially trained to defend the territorial integrity of a nation. These men and women need prayers in order to effectively defend the territory and prevail against the enemies of our nation.

PRAYER GUIDE

Let us worship our God who neither sleep nor slumber in watching over our nation. Psa 121:2
Let’s thank God the Almighty for being the chief security officer in charge of our nation territory. Psa 127:1-2
Father; thank you for the military and all other security agencies in my nation in Jesus name.
Thank you for their trainings, their sacrifices and boldness. 2Tim 1:7
Father, we plead for your mercy over all our security men and women in any way they have taking laws into their hands and fallen short of expectations

DAY 47– SAT, FEB 26TH, 2022
SICKNESS AND DISEASES
BIBLE TEXT(S): EXO 15 :26, JAS 5 :15, PSA 107 :20-21, 1 PET 2 :24,

It is never the will of God for any of His children to be sick, 3Jn 1:2. It is sin that brought sickness into the world; we need to repent and turn to God in our prayers of faith to get out of the wilderness of sicknesses and disease.

PRAYER GUIDE

Thank God for His healing power that is available for His Children, in Jesus name. Psa103:3.
Father, please forgive me all my sins both known and unknown that have brought sickness and diseases (mention the name of sickness, if any) upon me, in Jesus name. Psa 103:3, Jas 5:15.
Father, by your mercy, please take away from me every inherited sickness and diseases, in Jesus name. Exo 15:26.

COVENANTS

Covenant is an agreement by lease, deed or legal between two or more people. A covenant is a written promise usually under seal between two or more parties especially for the performance of some action. A covenant can also be an agreement between God and his people, in which God makes promises to his people and, usually requires certain conduct from them.

PRAYER GUIDE

Father, I thank you for the covenant of life through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. John 10:10.
Father I thank you for every promise contained in your covenant with your children.

TOPIC: SPIRIT OF ERROR AND MISTAKE

Error is both of the mind and of the spirit. The spirit of error and mistake leads to erroneous judgment and decision that leads to wrong action which eventually leads to failure in life. Error and mistakes can lead to destruction, frustration, rejection, accident and calamity.

PRAYER GUIDE

Father, I thank you for victory over the spirit of error and mistake in the name of Jesus.
Father, let the blood of Jesus Christ cleans me from every error and mistakes committed in the past in Jesus name. Prov 28:13

UNITY IN THE CHURCH

Unity is the state of being united or joined as a whole. The church of God is called to be united and be firmly connected to its source which is the Lord Jesus Christ.

SPECIAL PRAYERS FOR CHILDREN (INCLUDING TEEN, YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT)

Children are gifts from God; the devil is always looking for ways to destroy these good gifts. We need to pray in order to avert and destroy every evil planned from the kingdom of darkness against these treasures.

Father, thank you for the blessing of procreation and the seed you have given to us. Psa 127:3
Father! thank you for your love, protection, provision for these treasures – our children, teenager, youths and young adult which you have given to us. Psa 127:3

For there to be revival in the land and nations, the church must become very prayerful. It is only prayer that can bring about the expected TURN AROUND that will bring to manifestations the plans of God for a nation.

Prophecy is a prediction of what will happen in the future, it is an inspired utterance from a prophet. Daddy G.O. in his prophesies for the Church said; “All I have is good news”. This should encourage us to pray until we see the manifestations.
