10. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Eccl. 12:13
13. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
OPENING PRAYER
Prayer Point:
Father, create in me a heart that references You.
INTRODUCTION
The fear of the Lord is defined as having reverence, respect, the right attitude, perspective towards God. The Bible says ‘ the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.’ Any person that fears the Lord is walking in wisdom.
WHAT IS THE FEAR OF THE LORD?
1. To hate evil. Proverbs 8:13.
2. In God’s fear is strong confidence. Proverbs 14:26.
3. The bible commanded that the earth should fear the Lord. Psalm 33:8.
4. It is a fountain of life. Proverbs 14:27.
BENEFITS OF FEARING THE LORD
1. God’s secret is with them that fear Him. Psalms 25:14.
2. His mercy is on them that fear Him; even His great mercy. Luke 1:50, Psalms 103:11.
3. He pities those that fear Him just as a father pities his children. Psalms 103:13.
4. Longevity. Proverbs 10:27; Deuteronomy 6:2.
5. Life, abiding in satisfied and evil-free existence. Proverbs 19:23.
CONCLUSION
The fear of the Lord is the master key in the life of any believer. Eccl. 12:13
PRAYER POINTS
1. Father, I worship you with everything within me.

3. Father, create in me a heart that reverences you.
4. Father, have mercy on me.
5. Father, let me serve you all the days of my life.
6. Father, help all your children in RCCG to serve you with fear and trembling.

THURSDAY: – Deuteronomy 32:39. Father, let me continually enjoy your compassion and not your anger.
FRIDAY: – Psalms 25:4, Gen 18:17-21. Father, give me unusual divine revelations.
SATURDAY: – Deuteronomy 28:58-64. Lord, grant me the grace to always obey and fear you.
SUNDAY: – Isaiah 55:8-9, 42:8, 43:13, 45:7. Father, I will forever fear and obey you.
