Topic: From Decision To Preservation [Saturday December 30, 2017]
Scripture: In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him… for thou shalt die, and not live. Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD… and the word of the LORD came to him, saying…I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee. 2 Kings 20:1-6
Thought For The Day: Decision is stronger than cancer; your longevity is at the mercy of your decision.
Sometime ago, I heard the story of Dodie Osteen, the mother of Joel Osteen. In 1981, she was diagnosed of metastatic adenocarcinoma of the liver (cancer). The Doctors gave her only six weeks to live and die. Consequently, she began to emaciate beyond recognition.
Then something happened! She made a decision that she was not going to die. Before then, giants of faith like Oral Roberts, Kenneth Hagin and T. L. Osborn had prayed for her but all to no avail it seemed. Following her decision to defy the verdict of death, she looked for passages in the Scripture relevant to her condition and began to eat them. She also took her wedding picture where she looks very beautiful and placed it on the wall. She pointed at the picture daily and declared, ‘This is me, and this is who I am going to look like and become.’ She combined those declarations with scriptural lights and declarations.
Beloved, the Doctors gave her just six (6) weeks to live, but the six weeks never came. It is thirty four (34) years now since that report was handed onto her but she is still alive and strong, all by the power of decision.
Beloved, decision is stronger than cancer; your longevity is at the mercy of your decision. What the doctor, witch, enemy or devil has said concerning you is not as important as the decision you make concerning yourself. You are preserved in Jesus’ Name.
Remember This: Decision is stronger than cancer; your longevity is at the mercy of your decision.

Prayer: Lord, I receive the grace to make quality decisions. Erase every verdict of hell concerning my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
