SCRIPTURE: After this manna therefore pray ye: Our Father which are in heaven, Hallowed be thy name – Matthew 6:9
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is your life that determines the quality of your relationship with God
You are welcome to the Year 2022. We are grateful to God for a successful crossover from the year 2021 into the Year 2022. This year shall deliver into your hands unimaginable results, in Jesus’ Name.

It is very important to start the year with God; and one subject that draws a person closer to God is prayer. There is a need to prioritize prayer in your life this year.
Now, understanding is key to actualization. What is not understood can never be actualized.
This means, to pray effectively, there is a need to understand what prayer is all about.
What then is prayer?
Prayer is a platform for communion between God and man.

Prayer is a place where the relationship between God and man is serviced. It is your prayer life that determines the quality of your relationship with God. Prayer is the place where we can be naked before God and not ashamed; a place where we can give out our secrets and have no fear; the place where we would not be judged for being in need.
There are people who think you are a sinner just because you could not pay your house rent. They judge you based on your deficiency but at the place of prayer, you are open before God without any form of condemnation no matter who you are.
Prayer is the place where a man gets to know and interacts with the God he serves. Prayer is the communication that lubricates the relationship between God and man; it is the communication flow that cements that relationship.
REMEMBER THIS: It is your prayer life that determines the quality of your relationship with God.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Prioritize your prayer life above other things this year.
- Make up your mind to maintain a consistent relationship with God this year.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for a successful crossover into the Year, 2022. I ask for the grace to maintain a consistent relationship with You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
