Character attracts the Presence of God, and the Presence of God is the birthplace of destiny.
SCRIPTURE: And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. Genesis 39:2
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Character attracts the Presence of God, and the Presence of God is the birthplace of destiny.
In our previous studies, we saw that Joseph was a man of proven integrity. Potiphar’s wife wanted to have immorality with him but he refused. He left his clothes in her hands and ran away in order to maintain his integrity.

Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that the Lord was with Joseph. Now, it is important to know that one thing that attracted God to Joseph was character. Character attracts the Presence of God, and the Presence of God is the birthplace of destiny.
Good character attracts God.
Psalms 24:3 says,
Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
Character attracts the Presence of God around the life of a person and the Presence of God is the birthplace of destiny. No liar can keep company with God. No thief can keep the company of God.
Beloved, make up your mind to host God in your life by maintaining a lifestyle of character and integrity.
Remember this: Character attracts the Presence of God, and the Presence of God is the birth place of destiny.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- By all means, decide to live a life of solid character.
- Allow God to shape your character in His Presence.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You help me to be holy as You are. Let my life be a reflection of Your character of uprightness, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
