TOPIC: The Necessity Of The Judgment Of The Wicked (Seeds Of Destiny 13 June 2025)
SCRIPTURE: For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. Exodus 12:12
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When judgment is delayed wickedness is enhanced.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2025 MESSAGE:
We live in a world where wickedness is on the increase daily. People engage in abominable acts of wickedness with impunity. The devil and his agents are on a rampage afflicting people without mercy and without pity. But we are at the stage now, when the adversaries, the enemies of God and His people must be made to face their judgment.

Now, why is judgment necessary for the wicked? Let us look at three reasons why judgment is necessary for the wicked.
- Judgment is necessary because our God is not just a righteous God, but a God of justice, judgment, due rewards and recompense. He rewards everyone according to what they deserve. In Isaiah 42:13-14, God said, I have long time holden my peace, I have been still and refrained myself concerning your life, family, destiny and your Nation. But now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy the devil and his agents. I will devour them at once. (Paraphrased).
- When judgment is delayed, wickedness is enhanced, wickedness is boosted. And God will never allow wickedness to be boosted by delaying judgment. When the judgment of killers and their sponsors is delayed, wickedness escalates. (Ecclesiastes 8:11).
- The revival of righteousness happens when the judgment against evil is executed (Isaiah 26:9).
Now, what did God judge in Egypt?
i. The gods of Egypt (Exodus 12:12).
ii. The head oppressor of Egypt; his name was Pharaoh. Pharaoh was buried in the Red Sea (Exodus chapter 14).
iii. The foot soldiers and human agents of wickedness in the land of Egypt. These were those that the head oppressor deployed to execute wickedness. They were like the terrorists, the kidnappers and the bandits of today. They received their judgment; they were sunk in the Red Sea.
iv. The systems and instruments of oppression and wickedness. The horses and their riders sank in the sea. The horses were the oppressor’s weapons of warfare.
v. The structure and institution of wickedness. The structure of Egypt that perpetuated oppression ended by the time the first born of Egypt died.
Beloved, two things are necessary, if you want the God of judgment to answer.
A. There must be a passionate hatred for oppression and oppressors.
B. There must be an alignment with the purpose of God like Elijah who stood with God (1 Kings 17:1).
Beloved, every oppressor and agent of wickedness in your life is receiving God’s judgment today.
Remember this: When judgment is delayed wickedness is enhanced.
ASSIGNMENT (S):
- Possess a high level of hatred for oppression and the oppressor.
- Find out what God is doing in the season and align with Him for the fulfilment of His agenda.
- Pray for the judgment of the wicked around your life and in your country.
PRAYER: O! Lord God, to whom vengeance belongth, show yourself. O! thou judge of the earth, Let no wicked escape your judgment in this season, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
