SCRIPTURE: So God created man in His own image… and God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion… – Genesis 1:27-28
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: We were created for a life of dominion and authority under God.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
One major dimension of the destiny of a child of God is a destiny of authority. It is a destiny of command, a destiny of control. That is, being in control, in command, and in charge of all forces under heaven.
Genesis 1:27-28 says, And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Psalm 8:3-8 says, What is man, that thou art mindful of him?… For thou hast made him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet.
Man was created with the dominion mandate to exercise dominion on God’s creations. Man was made to have authority and be in control.
Genesis 9:1-2 confirms this, when it says that the fear of man shall be upon every beast of the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
Beloved, authority is our destiny. We were not created to be under the command of any devil, witch, wizard, or diabolical power; God created us to be in command.
When you don’t know who you are, you will not know how to live. When identity is not clear, everything becomes acceptable.
Our destiny is to be in charge, not to be pressed down by any devil, not to be subject to any form of oppression by the forces of darkness.
There is something God has been doing for us as a Ministry consistently, and that is bringing natural circumstances under control.
At a crusade in Bwari, a suburb of Abuja, Nigeria, when it started raining, and the people were not willing to leave, a decree was released: “The rain dries up now.” And within minutes, the rain ceased. On another occasion, it was raining everywhere except on the crusade ground.
Beloved, that was supernatural authority. That was dominion. That is the life God has called us into.
Continue to take charge. Be in control. Be in command. That is your destiny.
REMEMBER THIS: We were created for a life of dominion and authority under God.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Reject every mentality of fear and oppression; embrace your dominion in Christ.
- Speak with authority over every situation that is contrary to God’s will in your life.
- Meditate daily on scriptures that establish your dominion in Christ.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for creating me in Your Image and giving me dominion. I receive grace to walk in authority over every power of darkness, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
