THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The way of soul winning is the way of spiritual authority and dominion.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
There is a dimension of spiritual authority and dominion that comes with active involvement in the salvation of souls. Soul winning is not the exclusive assignment of a select group of believers; it is the responsibility of every child of God. The mandate to reach the lost is for every believer in Christ.
In Luke 10:1, the Lord appointed seventy disciples and sent them ahead of Him into every city and place where He would later go. When they returned, they came back with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name” (Luke 10:17).
Jesus responded by saying, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and on scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.
You see, their engagement in reaching souls opened them up to a realm of spiritual authority and dominion.
Scripture is filled with examples of men who walked in unusual authority through their commitment to God’s purpose of rescuing people.
God, through Moses brought Israel out of Egypt with a mighty Hand, an outstretched Arm, and undeniable signs and wonders. The Nile was turned to blood, the military might of Egypt was buried in the Red Sea, water came out of rock, bread fell from heaven, etc.
Moses was involved in rescuing God’s people, and he operated in extraordinary spiritual authority and dominion.
Elijah turned a nation back to God in a single day. On Mount Carmel, he challenged the prophets of Baal and declared that the God who answered by fire should be God. When the fire of the Lord fell, the people cried out:
The Lord, He is the God… (1 Kings 18:24&39). Elijah’s passion for restoring people to God was accompanied with unusual authority.
The disciples also walked in remarkable dominion through soul winning. They preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them, confirming His Word with signs following (Mark 16:20). Their ministry to people was accompanied by the manifestation of divine power in signs and wonders.
Above all, Jesus Christ was soul-winning personified. And He was also dominion personified. He came to seek and to save the lost. He laid down His Life for the salvation of mankind while demonstrating unquestionable power and authority. He walked on the sea, turned water into wine, multiplied loaves and fishes, healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out devils, and exercised unquestionable dominion everywhere He went.
Beloved, anyone who is committed to winning lost souls is a commander in the realm of the spirit. Such a person becomes a dominion carrier, a kingdom power broker, and an authority figure recognisable in the realm of the spirit. The way of soul winning is the way of spiritual authority and dominion.
REMEMBER THIS: The way of soul winning is the way of spiritual authority and dominion.

- Make soul-winning a deliberate lifestyle and not an occasional activity.
- Pray regularly for opportunities to lead people to Christ.
- Trust God for greater manifestations of His Power as you engage in Kingdom harvest.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for giving me the privilege of participating in the harvest of souls. I receive the grace to be committed to soul winning, and I ask for the manifestation of Your Power and Dominion through my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
