SCRIPTURE: Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
Scripture makes it abundantly clear that grace never travels alone [Hebrews 4:16]; grace usually travels in the company of mercy. Wherever you find grace, there you also find mercy.
Mercy is that Divine help that keeps you from the judgment you deserve and preserves you from danger. When you carry grace, you are not easily wastable because grace is the companion of mercy.
Now, what are the constituents of grace? In today’s study, we shall consider a few of them.
- Grace is the mother of insight.
Grace gives birth to insight. Moses was asking God for grace in Exodus 33:13, “If I have found grace in Thy sight, show me now Thy way.” That is, Moses was telling God in essence, “If you say I have grace, then confirm that grace by giving me a revelation,” and God showed him His way.
If you carry grace, you have access to the ways of God. So, when you say, “Father, give me grace, you are saying, “Father, let me see what I haven’t seen before. Show me a part of You I don’t know” [Psalm 103:7]. People who carry grace carry insight.
- Grace fuels faith.
When you see anyone who carries massive faith, it is massive grace at work. Such people behave as if nothing is impossible; it is grace at work. And faith is the reason for exploits. Faith flourishes anywhere grace is present. Acts 18:27 makes us understand that believers believe through grace. - Grace undergirds our stand in uprightness.
Anyone you see standing and flourishing in righteousness, it is by grace, and not by book knowledge, nor by willpower. It is not because he is powerful enough to overcome temptation. If they separate grace from a person, what he has is disgrace [Titus 2:11- 12]
Now, what are the keys to grace?
i. Lowliness or humility.
Scripture makes it clear in James 4:6 that God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. The humbler you get, the more grace you connect. So, proud people are excused from grace. That is why to be proud is to easily crash.
ii. Insight into the Word of God.
The Word of God is the container of grace. The Scripture speaks of “the word of His grace” in Acts 20:32. So, the Word of God is a carrier of grace. Therefore, the more of the Word you connect, the more grace you carry.
iii. Grace is found at the place of prayer.
The place of prayer is called the throne of grace. To be prayerful is to be grace-filled [Hebrews 4:16].
Beloved, if you desire greater mercy, deeper insight, stronger faith, a steadfast walk with God, and greater dimensions of grace, maintain humility, remain rooted in God’s Word, and give yourself continually to prayer.
REMEMBER THIS:
Wherever you find grace, there you also find mercy.
