TOPIC: Developing Your Gifts And Potentials Through Diligence (Seeds Of Destiny 19 January 2022)
SCRIPTURE: Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 2 Timothy 1:6
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Developing your giftings and potentials takes your life and destiny to the highest level.
It has been established that diligence is key to destiny. A lazy man has no enviable destiny. It takes hard work to go high in life. You need to deploy diligence to arrive at eminence.
Now, one area to deploy diligence is self-development.
There is a need to be diligent in the knowledge of what you do, including your gifts and potentials.
Beloved, if you are an information technologist, medical doctor, lawyer, etc., make up your mind to be diligent. Whatever be your occupation or field of endeavour, be diligent at it.

Developing your giftings and potentials takes your life and destiny to the highest level.
Paul was a diligent worker. Though he was in prison, he was still asking for books to develop himself (2 Timothy 4:13-15).
David was also a good self-developer.
See what 1 Samuel 16:18 says about him:
Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the Lord is with him.
That was the extent by which David developed himself. He developed himself as an instrumentalist. In the palace, when they were looking for an instrumentalist, they looked for him.
My counsel is, make up your mind to come to a level in your profession such that if they begin to think of the topmost person, you are the first person that comes to mind.
Remember this: Developing your giftings and potentials takes your life and destiny to the highest level.
