Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
The Life of God is a durable life. Our God is not merely the God of long life; He is the God of endless life. Psalm 90:2 declares, Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
Furthermore, in John 14:6, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. He is not merely the source of life; He is life itself. As children of the everlasting God, we have been designed to be saturated with His Life.
Consider how you determine whether a product will last; you find out who made it. The integrity and capability of the manufacturer always affect the durability of the product. Some manufacturers engineer failure into what they make so that people keep buying. But the God we serve does not know how to make counterfeit. He does not manufacture what does not last. Beyond making you to last, He put His very Life inside you. You are both made by God and filled with the Life of God.
The Living Bible renders Job 5:26 this way: You shall live a long, good life; like standing grain, you will not be harvested until it is time. Long life is not merely about the quantity of years; it is about quality. Abraham lived to 175 years in a good old age and Isaac to 180. God’s intention is not for you to merely survive; it is for you to thrive all the way to a full and satisfied exit. God promises in Psalm 91:16, With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
This is why Jesus came. Hebrews 2:9 tells us that Jesus, by the grace of God should taste death for every man. He died young so you could live long. Through death, He destroyed the one who had the power of death — the devil — and delivered those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage (Hebrews 2:14–15).
Beloved, the death that should have taken you before your time, Jesus already died that death. In law, when a debt has been fully paid by someone on your behalf, it cannot be demanded from you again. Jesus was your substitute. You cannot die the death that He had already died on your behalf. He paid the price in full. Death has no legal claim on your life. Whatever was programmed to cut you short, Jesus settled it.
Beloved, declare it and mean it: “I shall live a long, good and fulfilled life. Like standing grain, I will not be harvested until it is time.” You are wired to last!
REMEMBER THIS: Beyond making you to last, He put His very Life inside you. You are both made by God and filled with the Life of God.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Declare Job 5:26 personally each morning this week: “I shall live a long, good life. Like standing grain, I will not be harvested until it is time.”
- Identify any area of sin, fear, or neglect of the Word in your life and close that gap today through repentance, time in the Word, and prayer in the Spirit.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for the gift of life and for sending Jesus to destroy the power of death on my behalf. I declare that I am wired to last. Every form of fear, generational pattern, agenda of hell, against my life is cancelled now in Jesus’ Name.
