SCRIPTURE: It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. – John 6:63
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Word of God carries the Life of God, and the Life of God cannot be overcome by the forces of darkness.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
The Word of God is the channel through which we access the very Life of God, a Life that is abundant, overflowing, and beyond the reach of the forces of darkness.
The Word of God carries the blessing of life, the Life of God. That is why Jesus says, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). Jesus Christ is the Word, and the Word declares God’s intention for us, and that is to have life and have it abundantly.
Our destiny is the Life of God—not a life that can be wasted. The same Jesus who says, “I am come that they might have life…”, also says, No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself… (John 10:18).
We receive the Life of God through the Word in two ways:
- The Word of God is a transmitter of the Spirit of God
The Word carries the Spirit of God, which is also the Life of God.
Ezekiel 2:2 says, And as he spake unto me, the spirit entered into me.
As the Word is spoken and received, the Spirit of God is transmitted into our lives. The Word carries the capacity to eject everything that is not of God and establish the Life of God within us.
- The Word of God transmits the Life of God directly
Jesus says in John 6:63, The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Just as food carries nutrients within it that are released when the food is digested, the Word of God also carries something within it. It carries zoë—the Life of God, the Life that is overflowing, abundant, exuberant, meaningful, and cannot be overcome.
There is a spiritual digestion of the Word that takes place when we hear, receive, and meditate on it. As the Word enters you, the life of God is imparted into you.
Jesus says in John 3:8, The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Beloved, give yourself to the study of the Word of God. And as you continually receive the Word, you receive the Life of God. That Life makes you unstoppable in the fulfilment of God’s purpose for your life.
REMEMBER THIS: The Word of God carries the Life of God.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Commit yourself to reading, hearing, and meditating on the Word of God consistently.
- Believe and receive the Life of God contained in His Word.
- Refuse to allow fear, darkness, or negative circumstances to determine the outcome of your life.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for the release of the blessing of Your Life through Your Word. Let Your Word continually transmit Your Spirit and Life into me. Help me to continually receive, meditate on, and live by Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name
