SCRIPTURE: And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount. – Exodus 25:40
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When the pattern is followed, the glory follows.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
There is no glorious destiny without a divine pattern. Every purpose God ordains is tied to a pattern, and until the pattern is followed, the purpose may never find full expression.
Scripture makes us understand that God is a God of purpose and pattern. In Genesis 6:13-16, God gave Noah a definite assignment to build an ark, but He did not leave Noah without direction. God gave Noah precise measurements, dimensions and specifications.
Noah was not permitted to build according to his own taste, opinion, human convenience or societal trend.
There was a pattern for him to follow.
The same thing happened with Moses and the building of the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant in Exodus 25:9, 40. God showed Moses the pattern to follow in building the tabernacle. He instructed him to make all things according to the pattern shown to him in the mount. Even Solomon in building the temple had to follow a definite pattern handed over to him by David (1 Chronicles 28:11-13).
And one thing became obvious: whenever the pattern was followed, the glory flowed.
When Moses completed the tabernacle according to the pattern, the glory of God filled the house. When Solomon completed the temple according to the pattern, the glory fell mightily. This reveals a major secret in life: if anything must be glorious, there is a due order and pattern to follow.
Beloved, your life is too important to be lived carelessly. One of the greatest tragedies in life is to exist without discovering and following divine pattern. Many people are roaming about trying to be like everybody, and in the process, they become nobody. The attempt to be everybody makes a nobody.
It is important to ask: “Who am I?” But it is far more important to ask: “Why am I?” The discovery of purpose must be followed by the discovery of pattern.
Jesus Himself operated by pattern. Before multiplying the five loaves and two fishes, the Scripture says, He Himself knew what He would do. John 6:5-6
In John 2:6-9, before the water became wine, there were six water pots set according to the manner of the purifying of the Jews. Nothing happened accidentally.
In life and destiny, originality is critical. There are kingdom models God may lead you to learn from, but you must never lose your originality trying to copy anyone. When God shows you a pattern, stay with it. When God gives you a blueprint, follow it diligently.
Beloved, seek God for clarity concerning your life, your assignment and your destiny. There is a pattern for your calling, a pattern for your marriage, ministry, career, future, etc. And when the pattern is followed, the glory follows.
REMEMBER THIS: When the pattern is followed, the glory follows.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Ask God in prayer to reveal to you His pattern and blueprint for your life and destiny.
- Refuse to live carelessly or copy people without divine direction.
- Follow God’s instructions diligently so that His glory can rest upon your life.
PRAYER: Lord, open my eyes to Your pattern for my life and give me the grace to follow Your instructions diligently, so Your glory can rest upon my life and destiny, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
