TOPIC: The Force Of Picture (Seeds Of Destiny 30 November 2023)
SCRIPTURE: I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. Habakkuk 2:1.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Faith is both fed and fuelled by spiritual sight or picture.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
It has been confirmed that God speaks in words, but expects man to see the pictures by the spirit.
Jeremiah 2:31 says,
O generation, see ye the word of the Lord. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? Wherefore say my people, we are lords; we will come no more unto thee?
God is saying something and He wants you to see something. It is the seeing of the picture of what God is saying that enhances and constitutes faith. Faith is both fed and fuelled by spiritual sight or picture.

So, the Word of the Lord can be seen. Abraham, the father of faith, was also the father of pictures.
Genesis 13:14-15 says,
And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
Who is Abraham’s seed? Isaac. And who is Isaac’s seed? Jacob. And Jacob’s seed is Israel.
So, the land where Israel is today, the geographical demarcations of that land, Abraham saw it before God gave it. Is it possible to see a whole country from one position with the physical eyes? No! Abraham saw the land by spiritual sight, and that spiritual sight or spiritual picture is what constitutes faith.
In Genesis 15:5-6, God was asking Abraham to see the stars, it says,
And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
He saw the pictures, and he believed. Vision assists conviction. Picture assists persuasion.
My counsel is, feed your faith with the Word of God, and see the pictures out of Scriptures
Remember this: Faith is fed and fuelled by spiritual sight or picture.
