TOPIC: The Benefits Of Being Blessed (Seeds Of Destiny 4 June 2023)
SCRIPTURE: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. – Galatians 3:13-14
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To be in Christ is to be blessed; life in Christ exempts us from every generational curse or spell.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
The Scripture makes it clear that the Blessing is our portion as children of God. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law that the Blessing of Abraham might come on us (Galatians 3:13-14).
This means, the Blessing is our portion and inheritance in Christ. To be in Christ is to be blessed; life in Christ exempts us from every generational curse or spell.
Now, what does the Blessing do for us as believers in Christ?
i) The blessing empowers the blessed to break and cross age-long barriers, limitations and obstacles (Gen. 11:27-32; Gen. 12:1-4).
When God’s Blessing comes upon you, barriers that have long existed in your family line are broken. The Blessing makes you cross age-long barriers, limitations, and obstacles (Gen. 12:1-4). The things that stopped both your ancestors and contemporaries cannot stop you because you are blessed.

ii) The Blessing empowers the blessed to take charge of new territories and break new grounds (Gen. 1:28).
The Blessing makes you to take new territories and break new grounds.
This means, you are empowered to step where other people ahead of you were unable to reach. You can dare what they dreaded because the Blessing is on your life.
Joseph was a slave and prisoner who ruled in a foreign land. He prescribed a formula for the preservation of perishable food for fourteen years without the use of modern refrigerator. The solution he gave did not exist before that time; he did it all by the power of the Blessing.
So, don’t be afraid of daring new things if the Blessing is in you.
Remember this: To be in Christ is to be blessed; life in Christ exempts us from every generational curse or spell.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Refuse the lifestyle of mediocrity and ordinariness.
- Make up your mind to break any obstacle and limitation working against your life and family by the power of the Blessing.
PRAYER: Lord, I reject the life of mediocrity and obscurity. I receive the grace to break the limitations and obstacles of my family by the power of the Blessing, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
